Meet Brian
Brian grew up in a small town in Northern Alberta, where he learned the value of hard work. After moving to the big city of Edmonton at the age of 17 to complete his Mechanical Engineering degree, he realized that his passion was not in engineering, but rather in real estate. In 2002, he bought his first investment property which started his real estate investor journey in the traditional method of flipping houses and then transitioning into a landlord.
By 2019, Brian realized that most renters were good people and would love to be homeowners, but there was something holding them back from achieving their dream... a step in their homeownership journey was missing. Our school system teaches you arithmetic, geography, and how to raise your hand when you have a question, but it doesn't teach you the important life skills required to own a home - those are left for you to figure out by trial and error. Many people just need a bit of help to point them in the right direction and a gameplan to get them there.

This prompted Brian to re-think the entire business model of landlording and ask himself how to create a win-win scenario that could act as a stepping stone for renters to move into home ownership. And thus was born Brian's Rent-to-Own program, which has helped dozens of Albertan families realize their dream of owning a home.
Brian has helped many property owners in Alberta to sell their home on favorable terms, and he has sat across the table with some of his buyers at Tim Horton's and been told he is now part of their family for helping them in their home ownership journey. This is what drives him - the ability to put together a win-win scenario where everybody benefits.

Susie is a long-time Edmontonian with a passion for all things real estate. With over 20 years of experience in real estate training, management, and acquisitions, she has developed a keen ability to identify prime properties and navigate complex transactions with confidence, ensuring seamless and compliant deals for her clients.
